Description
For sale is a reproduction piece of the WWII German Enigma machine, called the flange, sold as a set of two. The flange was attached to the bottom two holes of the Enigma lamp holder support leg, one flange on each side. The two bottom holes of the flange connected to the upright tabs of the segment plate. So from top to bottom it would look like, for major pieces: isolator plate; lamp holder; core; socket bar; and segment plate. The flange was originally made of steel, but these pieces are made to scale of black ABS plastic [it appears brown due to fluorescent lighting]. The original flanges were held in place to the lamp holder by: two M3 x 8 mm screws; two M3 washers; and two M3 x 2.4 nuts [not included in the sale]. The two pieces only weigh 0.1 ounces, but must be rounded up to 1 ounce to meet USPS requirements. The flanges will be shipped either via USPS First Class or USPS First Class Mail International for overseas shipments. Photos courtesy Toadjumper Militaria.
