Description
For sale is Enigma No. 1, originally released by Vertigo Comics, published by DC Comics, for sale in March of 1993. This is a first printing that I bought new and immediately put it into a comic bag with an acid-free backing board. It was then put into a comic book storage box and stored under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity for 26 years until today. The cover has glossy, vivid colors, a tight spine with slightly off-white pages without any color flecks, writing, stains, creases, dents, color breaks or tears. The outside of the staples are still shiny and bright with a like-new appearance without any oxidation and on the inside the staples are also shiny and bright, with just a sheen of oxidation. Because of this, I'm grading this as NM (9.4). This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have more Copper Age comics listed in my Ebay store, as well as vintage Silver Age and Bronze Age c omics. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting comics for over 30 years, buying them at yearly Comic Conventions as well as small Mom and Pop shops in N,Y.C., Queens and The Bronx. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my esoteric collection. Since grading is subjective, I will try to be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
